About me
I am an architect and designer who loves the dialogue between creativity and strategy. For over a decade, I have shaped spaces that combine function, elegance, and sustainability, projects ranging from modern offices and residential homes to industrial parks and healthcare facilities.
My passion for graphic design grew as an extension of architecture: the same principles of balance, composition, and storytelling applied to a different medium, one that allowed more playfulness and symbolism.
Now based in the Netherlands, I am pursuing a Master’s in Management in the Built Environment at TU Delft to bridge my practical expertise with leadership and innovation. Having studied and lived abroad, and collaborated with international clients, I thrive in multicultural environments and bring a global perspective to every project.
I am fluent in Romanian, English, and Spanish, and I am currently learning Dutch. I believe in perseverance, balance, and the beauty of the process, the satisfaction of refining a design until it truly fits its purpose. Every project is a journey toward clarity and meaning, and for me, that journey matters as much as the destination.
PROJECTS
OFFICE
I have extensive experience in office building design, gained primarily at Westfourth Architecture SRL, a studio renowned for its pioneering work on high-rise buildings in Bucharest. My role included leading the Miro Offices project from concept to completion and contributing to numerous other office developments. Responsibilities ranged from concept design and authority approvals to technical detailing, BoQ preparation, fire safety documentation, interior design, and tenant fit-out. My prior training in facade systems at Aludesign SRL further enhanced my expertise in complex office projects.
RESIDENTIAL
I have designed both individual homes and collective housing, independently and in collaboration with Letitia Barbuica. Each project was managed comprehensively, from concept development and permitting to execution. My approach balances site regulations, budget, and technical solutions, while remaining true to the client’s vision. The goal is always to create a functional, personalized, and aesthetically coherent home through an informed and collaborative design process.
INTERIOR DESIGN
My interior design experience spans residential, office, and medical spaces. Alongside Letitia Barbuica at Headmade Architecture SRL, I worked extensively on interiors for Regina Maria clinics nationwide, managing projects from concept to completion while ensuring compliance with medical regulations. These projects, especially those for pediatric clinics, were both creatively rewarding and technically challenging. Additionally, I developed interior solutions for apartment conversions and workplace fit-outs, blending functionality with aesthetic refinement.
INDUSTRIAL
My career began at Aludesign Construction Civile, where I led the architecture department, delivering complete industrial parks and corporate facilities for IPSO Agriculture (John Deere Romania). This experience allowed me to manage projects from concept through execution, working closely with structural and facade engineering teams. I have also developed facade proposals, glass skylights, and contributed to cultural projects such as the Main Hall Ceiling of the National Theatre in Bucharest. Over time, I applied this knowledge to industrial buildings and warehouses, ensuring compliance with fire and safety regulations.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Graphic design and branding are creative passions of mine, with a focus on identity and logo design. I approach each project strategically, seeking clean, symbolic, and concept-driven solutions that communicate the client’s message effectively. My architectural background influences my preference for geometric clarity, while I adapt the style to fit each brand’s personality and goals. For me, graphic design is about creating visual identities that resonate and inspire engagement.
RETAIL
I have contributed to retail projects through concept proposals and tenant fit-outs, leveraging my experience in brand identity and spatial design. Retail architecture demands spaces that are visually appealing, brand-consistent, and commercially effective, guiding the customer experience from layout to detail. My approach integrates design aesthetics with functionality to support sales and enhance brand perception.
