PERSONAL BRAND IDENTITY

PROJECT OVERVIEW

BIA stands for Birou Individual de Arhitectură, followed by my name, Sorina Simion. The goal was to design a personal brand identity that reflects my architectural background, passion for geometry and structure, and versatility as a designer. The logo needed to be strong, recognizable, and adaptable for use across various applications, from architectural drawings to digital branding.

DESIGN APPROACH

The concept is built around my initials, with two S-shaped ribbons intertwined in a way that suggests movement and connection, yet without touching—similar to a DNA dance. Each ribbon changes direction at sharp, angular bends, giving the design a geometric, architectural character while maintaining a sense of fluidity. The 3D effect and bold, sketch-like quality express rhythm, structure, and creativity, while the form’s adaptability allows it to take on various colors and materials for different contexts.
