REGINA MARIA BRODINA

Project overview

The project involved the reconfiguration and redesign of the 3rd floor of an existing 2S+GF+3F building, originally functioning as a medical clinic combined with office spaces. The goal was to expand the polyclinic’s services by converting the former office and meeting rooms into a dedicated pediatric department, featuring consultation rooms and four recovery rooms for sleep therapy.

Design Approach

The design concept centered around creating a warm, safe, and child-friendly environment that complies with medical standards. To echo the sleep therapy theme, we used pastel blue tones and cloud-shaped lighting fixtures, creating a calming yet playful atmosphere. Bright accents, natural textures, and custom furniture added warmth, functionality, and design cohesion.

Role

I collaborated on all stages of the design process, from concept development and permitting to execution, as part of a series of Regina Maria clinic projects across Romania. This experience provided valuable insights into medical facility regulations and reinforced my expertise in creating functional, patient-centered interiors.
